It looks like we can add Cher to the ever-growing list of celebrities who believe in ghosts. Cher, as you may know, is more plastic now than woman, twisted and evil. Sorry, couldn’t resist. But yes, she is now claiming that her former mate and singing companion Sonny Bono plays pranks on her.
I’d say God played a prank or two of his own as well…
Cher is convinced that her late husband Sonny Bono is playing tricks on her from beyond the grave.
The 67-year-old singer claimed that she was being haunted by her former lover.
Cher opened up about her belief during a no-holds-barred chat with fans on Reddit’s Ask Me Anything.
When asked if she was afraid of ghosts, the If I Could Turn Back Time hitmaker replied: “Absolutely not. I love ghosts. I actually think that Sonny makes a light go on.
“I have a beautiful chandelier – he makes its light go on when it is impossible, [when] there is no power on. I love ghosts. I prefer ghosts to some people.”
She also finally also addressed rumours about her longstanding feud with Madonna. The pair are said to have become rivals more than 20 years ago after Madge took over from Cher as the biggest female pop artist.
Questioned about whether she disliked the Like A Virgin singer, Cher answered: “Madge, no. Actually, I don’t. I never hated her, I just thought she was a bitch. I quite respect her.
“Madge might be one of the most amazing artists I’ve known. I don’t like everything she does, for sure, but she is always riding the crest of the wave.
“She always saw trends way before anyone else, and had great videos. So, besides saying “WTF is MDNA”, I’m fine with it.”
