SyFy Channel to Premiere “Ghost Shark”

It was only a matter of time. And frankly, I’m surprised they didn’t do this sooner. The SyFy channel, purveyor of terrible sci-fi movies and questionable paranormal TV shows (“You’re proposing a show about hillbilly ghost hunters? Let’s do it!”), has finally decided to make a Frankenstein’s monster of terrible television programming. Behold: “Ghost Shark!”

Don’t go near the water, or the car wash, or the toilet, or any pool of water. The great white shark in the new SyFy made-for-television movie ‘Ghost Shark’ can appear anywhere that’s wet and attack. The plot includes a Fourth of July party, ghost hunters, sex and more. Airs at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, right after a 7 p.m. replay of “Sharknado.”

I cannot wait for the inevitable crossover of a “celebrity” (I honestly had trouble typing that because I was laughing so hard) from this abomination of a movie appearing as a “good friend” of Jason Hawes on Ghost Hunters for one of their annual hoaxes Halloween specials. But how can a great white shark ghost manifest itself in a toilet? I mean, it would be a very small shark, I would think. Oh, right, what am I doing. No thinking allowed when it comes to SyFy…

Ghost Shark can come right out of the toilet! Just like all of SyFy’s movie ideas.
