So the following videos from YouTube have been making the rounds on the news and on the internet lately, and our friend Amy Nelson Raiola from The Staten Island Paranormal Society reminded me about them today. I’m really not sure what to make of these. On the one hand, the videos are pretty impressive. Not so much for the detail of the UFOs, as we can really only see little white lights, but for how those lights move. I don’t know of any conventional aircraft that move like that. That being said, I think there is something a little too good about these videos. For better or for worse, we live in an age where even the casual home computer user can make some amazing special effects for their photos or videos. I also noticed that the sun is at a certain point in the sky during these videos, and it makes me wonder if these are objects closer to the camera that are just being illuminated a certain way by the sunlight and look like UFOs. But people on the street are looking up at these objects as well, so I don’t think that’s really the case. If not an outright hoax, or genuine UFOs, I think this may be some sort of viral marketing campaign, perhaps for an upcoming movie or TV show. I’ll definitely keep following this story to see how it develops. Have a look at each one and decide for yourself.
