Snug Harbor Paranormal Events

snug harbor, the governor's house, new york paranormal societyTime for a little shameless promotion for some of our friends in the paranormal community. The Snug Harbor Cultural Center here on Staten Island has been running a myriad of paranormal events in the past few months, starting with the Haunted Historical tours this past October and November. last month, The Staten Island Paranormal Society held their first Paranormal Roundtable, and despite horrible weather here in New York City, was a great success. So here’s a brief rundown of some more things happening at Snug Harbor in the coming months. If you have any interest in the paranormal and want to meet some of the great groups in the community, be sure to come check them out (or donate, where appropriate).

  • Paranormal Roundtable II, February 19, 7:00pm: The Staten Island Paranormal Society hosts the second in a series of discussion groups, where anyone with an interest in the paranormal can come to discuss their idea with like-minded people. Share your ghost stories, ask questions of real paranormal investigators, and discuss local haunted locations. Members of SCARED! and The New York Paranormal Society will also be attending.
  • SCARED! Psychics & Scientists, March 5, 7:00pm: Join the SCARED! crew as they present both views on investigating the paranormal. Team Psychic, Lisa Ann will be doing a gallery reading as well as individual readings. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore both aspects of the paranormal and come away with a greater understanding of the way we work.
  • SCARED! at Snug Harbor: Having gone all over the country to investigate claims of the paranormal, the SCARED! Crew returns to their home of Staten Island to look into and make a documentary about the haunted history of Snug Harbor Cultural Center. This is not an event that is open to the public, but SCARED! is looking to raise money to help with the filming of this documentary. They’ve already raised $2,000 but every little bit helps. The Staten Island Paranormal Society, as well us us here at The New York Paranormal Society, will be a part of this documentary, so please donate if you can!
