Benton bar sees “ghostly” bartender in surveillance video

Sometimes a video or photograph is genuinely interesting…and sometimes not. This is a classic case of “anything remotely unusual must be a ghost.”

a ghost? most likely a bug or piece of dust on the camera

Benton, IL (KFVS) – The Crazy Horse Bar in Benton serves a lot of spirits, but employees and patrons say overnight surveillance video proves–there’s another sort of sprit behind the bar.

“These cameras are motion activated,” said Crazy Horse bartender and assistant manager Kelly Davis. “Usually you’ll see me leave at night and it’ll pop back on in the morning when she gets here. But here, see 4:30 in the morning, here’s our friendly bartender.”

Davis says when she reviewed the video the morning of October 22, she was shocked to see a black blurry blob going through the motions of mixing drinks, and later floating over the bar to take a break on one of the barstools.

“I freaked out, every pore in my body chilled!” Davis said.
